Join IDEA partner Book Creator for a special in-person Pop-Up Professional Learning on May 14 in Rockford, IL. This pop-up learning event is geared towards Curriculum Directors, Tech Directors, Coaches, Tech Integrators, and Media Specialists who want to understand the power and benefit of this tool on instruction and learning. Book Creator will help participants discover how learners can be empowered through cultivating curiosity and fostering creativity for all contents and grade levels using Book Creator.
 
This workshop contains two sessions as well as lunch provided by Book Creator. And best of all, it’s completely free to register. The day will be broken down into the following schedule:
11:00 AM-12:00 PM: Summer Stories: Igniting Literacy with Book Creator
Join us to discover how Book Creator can cultivate a love of reading and enhance literacy skills over the summer break and beyond. With our specially designed Summer Reading Journal template, students will delve into their reading experiences, capturing wonderings, insights, and comprehension in dynamic format. Learn how Book Creator provides a safe and creative space for students to read, write, and publish their own stories, empowering them to develop across the four language domains.
 
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch break provided by Book Creator
 
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Engage, Empower, Excel: Unleashing the Magic of Interactive Notebooks
Embark on a journey to unlock the full potential of interactive notebooks through Book Creator. From organizing thoughts to tracking growth, Book Creator empowers students of all ages, languages, and abilities to take ownership of their learning by offering a creative outlet to document their progress overtime. Through personalized expression and publishing capabilities, students, teachers, and parents forge deeper connections, fostering a collaborative learning environment where every individual thrives.
