Description

This in-person workshop packs a lot into just two days, providing attendees with everything they need to build role-playing games (RPGs) into their school environment.  Presenters will share up-to-date overviews of the research surrounding the efficacy of RPG’s in education; information about where to find useful (and free) resources; step-by-step guidelines for building a game club, a summer camp, and even in-class games.  Also, attendees will receive a swag bag of useful materials to get them started on their RPG journey.  Finally, attendees will have the opportunity to observe the WCHS Game Club's RPG summer camp in action and play RPGs with student leaders.

IDEA is collaborating with Washington Community High School to provide Illinois educators 11.5 PDHs for attending this two-day event.
